Effective Power Points

1. Effective Power Points: We're entering the board room today and tomorrow, so you should all have solid drafts of your proposal. Next Thursday, you will have an opportunity in class to present your plans to improve the SL businesses. Therefore, you'll need to translate your presentation into a powerpoint that is organized, informative, and attractive. Today you'll have a chance to evaluate some presentations.

1. Open the "Our team rubric for ppt" document. Together, determine your criteria and scaling system.
   
2. Go through the sample power points together, filling out your rubric for each of the 3. Which scored highest? Why? Lowest? Why? See if you need to adjust your criteria for what makes a good powerpoint. Be prepared to present your findings to the class.

3. Now we will compare our criteria with another in this powerpoint on effective presentation techniques.

HOMEWORK
Please be sure to meet with your team to discuss the proposal and to be sure it will all come together as ONE presentation.
