Day 21 tasks:
Diplomatic language
Negotiation practice

1. Diplomatic language: Tone is extremely important in negotiations communication. It should be used as a tactical device to create the best atmosphere for negotiations. Tone is definitely part of strategy since you can either create an atmosphere of mutual benefit (win-win) or confrontation (win-lose.) Let's do some extra language practice.

2. Negotiation practice: Yesterday we did some practice with negotiation, and you all are getting better at "thinking outside the pie." However, we really need practice integrating the LANGUAGE! In today's practice, let's really focus on applying the language strategies for negotiation and diplomacy.
